NFPA RECIPROCATING AIR COMPRESSORS

NFPA Duplex RED Horizontal Tank Mount

The duplex horizontal tank mount reciprocating compressors provide footprint reduction and enhance the overall serviceability by means of its compact design. Mounted horizontally on top of the receiver tank, this configuration is available for compressors ranging between 2 – 10 HP, offering you maximum space efficiency.

NFPA Duplex RED Modular Stack Mount

The duplex modular stacking configuration minimizes installation costs and maximizes the availability floor space. This configuration consists of two compressors stacked on top of one another. This modular or field separable design allows for ease of shipment and handling on site.

NFPA Triplex RED Modular Stack Mount

The triplex modular stacking configuration allows two compressors to be stacked on one side and one compressor situated on the other side of the receiver tank. This modular or field separable design allows for ease of shipment and handling on site.

NFPA Quadruplex RED Modular Stack Mount

The quadruplex modular stacking configuration consists of two compressors mounted on top of one another on both sides of the receiver tank. This modular or field separable design allows for ease of shipment and handling on site.

General Specifications

Control Panel

UL listed control panel in a NEMA 12 enclosure with a 5.7" Touch Screen Display

Manual reset for all alarms

All control and alarm functions shall remain energized while any pump in the system remains electrically online

Ethernet connectivity with embedded webpage for remote monitoring, password protected for remote adjustment of all operating parameters

Air Compressor

V-belt driven Oil-Less Reciprocating compressors, air-cooled construction with absolutely no oil needed for operation (Available in single or two-stage)

1800 RPM, premium efficiency motor

Means of removal of the compressor for service or replacement without interruption to the system

Dryer/Filter/Regulator System

Integral air treatment system with purge saving feature, NFPA 99 compliant assembly featuring dual desiccant air dryers, dual pre-filters, after-filters, pressure regulator valves, dew point monitor, CO monitor and system safety valves

Completely pre-piped and pre-wired to single-point service connections

Air Receiver

ASME certified

Rated for a minimum of 200 psig design pressure

Inside of the receiver consists of a two-part epoxy coating providing rust protection equal or better than that achieved by galvanizing

Three-valve bypass for service or replacement without interruption to the system

Each bank consists of three stages:

Stage 1: Prime efficiency coalescer with filtered, differential pressure gauge

Stage 2: Desiccant heatless air dryer, equipped with purge control capable of attaining pressure dew point of -40ºF The dry compressed air is discharged from the "online" tower into the 3rd stage

Stage 3: Prime efficiency particulate after filter with differential pressure gauge along with downstream pressure regulators that will maintain constant discharge pressure of 50 psig (field adjustable)
